You will receive updates on new job openings straight to your inbox by subscribing to Job Alerts. You don’t need to send attachments – only a few clicks will be enough to know the job opportunities you are looking for!
Job Alerts Configuration
Pre-applicants receive Job Alerts via email when jobs that suit their criteria become available. Individuals can subscribe to these alerts via the Talent Network Forms.
When you enable job notifications, you give potential applicants the option of receiving marketing emails for jobs they might be interested in. Candidates can choose the job criteria they’re interested in and the frequency they wish to receive job alert emails when they subscribe.
Using Job Alerts
Job Alert emails are sent to pre-applicants who have subscribed to job alerts. These Job Alert emails are set up in the Configuration product area’s Job Alerts, and Marketing Email Templates pages. Users are directed to the Job Apply page by email. If the position is no longer available on the CMS, the link will redirect them to the job search page.
Our software only sends an email if jobs meet the subscriber’s set criteria and have been opened since the subscriber’s last job alert email. Contacts can unsubscribe from each alert by clicking the Unsubscribe button in the job alert’s email. They must unsubscribe from each alert separately if they apply to numerous alerts.
Job Alert Logic
To be featured in a Job Alert, a job posting must match all of the following criteria:
- The job is open and has been updated since the candidate’s last alert.
- The job meets the candidate’s requirements (location, qualifications, etc.)
- The position is listed on the job board where the job alert subscription was started.
When a contact clicks the “Subscribe to Job Alerts!” link at the bottom of an opt-in form, the board that initiated the opt-in becomes the alerts’ driver.
Tracking Sources for Jobs and Contacts
The job alert source is added to the job when a contact clicks on a job from a job alert, and tracking begins. The source is sent to the ATS during the application process for applicants who proceed to apply for jobs after receiving a job alert. A system note is appended to the contact record when a contact subscribes to or unsubscribes from a job alert. The source of a job alert is stored in a contact’s source history every time they interact with one.
